CompuSystems Introduces CompuLEAD Desktop II – The Next
Generation Lead Retrieval System for Tradeshow Exhibitors
BROADVIEW, IL--After years in the making, CompuSystems, Inc. (CSI)
has launched the next-generation lead retrieval system, CompuLEAD
Desktop II (CL II). This new solution takes advantage of the latest
advancements in data collection and management technology.
CL II gives tradeshow exhibitors an easy way to
quickly and effectively capture and qualify leads on the show floor.
It’s lightweight, small in size and features a slot reader
to record attendee badges. The exhibitor simply drops the badge
in the card slot -- no scanning or swiping is required. “This
is the most logically designed and easiest to use device of this
type I have ever used,” said C.B. Fields of Baritec Inc, who
was an exhibitor at this fall’s American College of Surgeons
91st Annual Clinical Congress.
CL II utilizes cutting edge hardware and software
to record badges to ensure quick and reliable badge scanning. “Reliability
is the most important aspect of a lead retrieval unit,” said
Chris Williams, CSI’s Senior VP of Sales. “In a tradeshow
environment, lead generation is mission critical. We’ve invested
in the best and most robust technology to ensure that our units
read the first time, every time.”
“This lead retrieval system is the best I
have ever used,” said Andrea Ortiz of Chad Therapeutics, an
exhibitor at the Florida International Medical Expo 2005. “It
was simple to operate and it worked every time.”
When exhibitors rent CL II, they are supplied with
their own personal USB memory drive to store their leads electronically.
The USB drive is built right into the unit so when a lead is recorded
it is automatically stored to it. Exhibitors can remove the USB
drive any time during the show should they need immediate access
to their leads; otherwise they take it with them at the end of the
show. Their leads are provided to them in the widely-used Microsoft
Excel file format.
CL II has several other features to help exhibitors manage their
leads more effectively on the show floor. They can recall a lead
that was taken at an earlier time using the keypad and LCD, and
then edit it by hitting a few buttons. The unit is equipped with
the appropriate hardware and software to connect multiple units
to an in-booth computer network. And it is Bluetooth enabled which
allows it to communicate wirelessly with other Bluetooth devices.
“CL II does much more than the traditional
lead retrieval system,” Williams continued. “It is much
like a computer with an operating system running our proprietary
lead management software. A software-based lead retrieval solution
gives us tremendous flexibility, allowing us to quickly add features
and functionality to meet the demands of our customers.”
To further enhance the lead retrieval experience
at tradeshows, CSI has developed a software application to maximize
efficiency in distributing and collecting the lead retrieval units
in the exhibit hall. The new process is much faster, thus, significantly
reduces exhibitor wait time.
CSI will demonstrate the new CL II capabilities
at IAEM’s Expo! Expo! 2005 Annual Meeting & Exhibition.
