Building Attendance One Friend at a Time
In an effort to aid trade show organizers in increasing attendance, improve the show experience,
and build a sustainable competitive advantage, CompuSystems has integrated with LinkedIn®.
Long gone are the days when online social networking was dominated by college students.
With the use of LinkedIn® - a business-oriented social networking site - electronically connecting with peers has made its way to the trade show floor and is helping show organizers create greater buzz for upcoming events
Registered users maintain their list of contacts - or connections - and send customized messages to up
to 10 connections inviting friends to attend a particular trade show or seminar. Qualified leads in the attendee's extended network also see who may be attending a particular event.
Thus, a new relationship-based reason to sign up for a show or seminar generates higher yield and improved show engagement.
Please contact your CompuSystems sales executive to learn more about integrating LinkedIn® into your next show.
Surveys Reveal Exhibitors See Value in Lead Retrieval Products
Since Spring 2008, Exhibit Surveys Inc., an exhibition and event research company, has worked with CompuSystems to provide third-party, post-show,
Internet-based surveys to exhibitors who rented it's lead retrieval products and services.
Surveys have found the following information in the past several months of conducting research:
- 94% of those who rented lead retrieval equipment - CompuLEAD Desk II, CompuLEAD Desktop Pro or CompuLEAD Mobile - believe the products were easy to operate
- 91% replied that the badge scanning was reliable
- 89% of exhibitors replied that the system was easy to understand/operate
The result for all-events composite rated an average 4.4 on a 5-point scale.
"The surveys assist us in continuing to improve the exhibitor experience. In this way, we give show organizers the tools to help exhibitors improve their return
on investment," said Paul McCaffray, Executive Vice President & COO.

Train the Trainer: Toolkit Assists with ROI

CompuSystems attended Train the Trainers Program conducted by The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) July 28, 2008, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
CEIR spearheaded the program to address the need for exhibitor education for small- to medium-sized exhibiting companies,
specifically to aid exhibitors in calculating the level of investment required to reach a potential audience on a cost-effective basis.
During the session, Alan Danenberg, CompuSystems' Director of Marketing, completed the program and is certified to conduct ROI Training.
The toolkit helps exhibiting companies determine if they should participate in a show and the best avenues to take in attracting prospective qualified leads.
