CompuSystems 2007 Year End Highlights

Broadview, IL – October 12, 2007 - CompuSystems, Inc. (CSI) has had an exciting year in 2007, culminating with the announcement that it signed a multi-year agreement with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) to provide registration and lead retrieval services for the association’s Expo! Expo! annual meeting and trade show. CSI continued to lead the way in the trade show technology industry during 2007 with new products, services, and creative solutions.

CSI’s TrafficMax attendee list rental and marketing service for exhibitors is one highlight of note. Adding to the traditional list rental and email broadcast services is a complete postcard service.  Exhibitors can now send a professional-looking postcard to the list they select. Fulfilling a mailing is not always feasible for many exhibitors due to time constraints or a lack of resources. With this service, exhibitors can send a postcard quickly and without any technical expertise. Exhibitors don’t have to worry about design, assembly, or mailing; it’s all done for them. Benefits to the organizer are more control over the messages exhibitors send to registrants, and fewer exhibitors handling attendee lists.

CSI’s BuyerConnect service allows exhibitors to interact with show attendees by viewing and printing leads, following up with broadcast e-mails, and printing mailing labels. BuyerConnect also permits attendees to continue to interact with exhibitors by having free online access to a list of the exhibitors they visited at the show, including contact information. For 2007, BuyerConnect added a New Product Showcase option. Often, new products submitted by exhibitors are placed in a separate display area where attendees can view the new and exciting items.  Attendees are given a scanner to use in the Showcase area, and simply scan a product’s barcode to express interest in it. CSI’s BuyerConnect service then associates that attendee’s name to the exhibitor’s product; when the exhibitor receives their BuyerConnect email with their booth leads, the New Product Showcase attendee lead information is also included for follow up with the interested parties. With New Product Showcase services, exhibitors have contact information for attendees they may have otherwise never known were interested in their new products.

CSI also added several new features to their Interactive Reporting System this year that drastically reduces the amount of time an organizer spends generating statistical and financial registration reports for their event. The new features are ideal for those that run the same reports numerous times. They also provide the ability to save reports for quick and easy access any time. All that is required is to define the report parameters once and to save them. Saved reports can then be run as often as needed with the click of a mouse. Also, multi-report generation can run up to six reports simultaneously. Multiple report runs can also be saved for later use, under a single report name, and generated instantly any time. Lastly, CSI’s report scheduling feature schedules reports to run automatically daily, weekly or monthly, down to the hour. Reports can be automatically emailed to one or multiple recipients.

CSI is looking to the future as well by continuously seeking new solutions to enhance the trade show experience for organizers, exhibitors, and attendees alike. “We will continue to develop new technology to serve the unique needs of the trade show industry in 2008 and beyond,” says Paul McCaffray, CompuSystems’ Executive Vice President and COO. “CSI strives to stay at the forefront of the industry, and to continue providing top quality service as a premier registration and lead retrieval supplier.”
