CompuSystems
offers new Internet list marketing system
BROADVIEW,
IL--Increasing booth traffic with a pre-show promotion has become a lot
easier thanks to CompuLIST®, an online list rental and
marketing service offered by CompuSystems, Inc. (CSI).
The system is the first Internet list marketing service
available in the tradeshow industry.
CompuLIST is designed to help exhibitors quickly select
online a targeted list of buyers who have registered for a tradeshow with
compete security. Buyers can
be selected from current and past events using
a variety of demographics such as geographic area, company type, job
title, sales volume, and others.
The targeted list then is sent automatically to
the exhibitor for use in printing labels for direct mailings or CompuLIST
keeps it in a secure environment for use in fax or e-mail broadcasts.
“The e-mail broadcasts have
proven to be the most popular feature among the thousands of exhibitors
who already have used our service,” said Paul McCaffray, CSI COO.
“It’s very inexpensive compared to direct mail and an e-mail
broadcast can reach thousands of prospects within minutes. And, it
provides a means for the exhibitor’s prospects to respond to their
message within minutes as well.
E-mail messages can be sent both in plain text or HTML
formats using CompuLIST. The
system has a built-in feature to ensure exhibitor e-mail messages conform
to the new federal laws regarding e-mail broadcasting that went into
effect early 2004. Opt-out links are automatically added to exhibitor
e-mail messages and opt-out requests by recipients are managed for them.
Exhibitor’s testimonial
“I wish everything was this easy to do,” said
Kristi Elisano, Business Development Manager for Sparks Exhibits and
Environment. “We used
CompuLIST’s e-mail service to invite guests to come by our booth at
Exhibitor Show 2004. We
hadn’t been part of the show for three years and we didn’t want to get
lost on the show floor.
“I started by
selecting the show on the CompuSystems website.
Then, I targeted the buyers I wanted to reach from the list of
registered attendees. Finally,
I uploaded my e-mail message and launched the broadcast.
The whole project took about 10 minutes and was very fairly priced.
All the information I needed to do it myself was provided on the
site.”
Free technical service
is available if needed.
“Fortunately, there
are very few technical service requests,” McCaffray continued.
“The system is that easy to use.
It’s also easy to modify each list by changing the selection
criteria. For example,
exhibitors can select one buyer or all buyers from a company.
They can select the number of names they purchase based on their
budget and the system will only return that number of names that fit
within their parameters.
“Best of all for
many of our clients is that CompuSystems completely manages the project
for them automatically.”
