FAQs
I lost my badge, how do I order a new one?
When you arrive at the show, bring your registration confirmation e-mail with you to the registration counter. A badge will be re-printed for you.

What is the Refund and Cancellation Policy?
Continuing Education and Attendee Cancellation Policy
  • All cancellation requests must be made by completing the Cancellation Request Form.
  • $40 CE registration processing fee is non-refundable.
  • Optical Boot Camp Level 1, Optical Boot Camp Level 2, and Optical Boot Camp Level 3 are non-refundable.
  • Exhibit Hall Registration Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Standard Package and/or A la Carte registrations can not be converted to Total Office Package registrations. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Total Office Package registrations can not be converted to Standard Package and/or A la Carte registrations. All registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • No special offers or promotions can be combined.
  • Credit rollovers will not be granted for unused hours.
  • All cancellation requests will be processed after International Vision Expo East beginning in October in the form of a credit rollover. You will receive notification of your credit rollover within 60 days of processing. Credit rollovers are valid for International Vision Expo East 2016 or East 2016 continuing education only.
  • Credit rollovers cannot be transferred to another person.
  • Continuing Education credit is not awarded if a credit rollover is issued.
  • Credit rollover will expire if not used by Vision Expo East 2016.
  • No refunds will be given if the credit rollover is not used in full.
  • Refunds will not be issued for cancellation requests.

Can my spouse or child attend the show? If so, what is the cost?
A spouse or guest over 18 must register as an Exhibition Attendee and receive a badge in order to enter the exhibit hall at the Javits Center. The cost for Exhibition Only registration is $75 preshow. Children under the age of 18 can attend but must be accompanied with a guardian who is badged for the event. Show management reserves the right to request proper identification at any time.

Do I need to qualify and present credentials to attend the show? If so, what credentials are required?
Yes, you may need to present credentials to attend. The International Vision Expo is open to the trade only.

Is the International Vision Expo open to the public?
No. The International Vision Expo is a trade event only.

I did not receive a confirmation, am I registered?
If you did not receive a confirmation e-mail, please call The International Vision Expo Registration Customer Service at 1.203.840.5610 or 800.811.7151 to request a confirmation letter or you may click on the "check status/update" button on the main registration page to have your confirmation letter resent.

How can I update or change my registration information?
You can update your registration information by returning to the registration web site and click on the "edit registration" button, or you may call The International Vision Expo Registration Customer Service at 1.203.840.5610 or 800.811.7151 to update your registration over the phone.

Can I register if I am not a member?
Yes, registration is open to the trade.

How do I make a Group Registration?
When you register online, you will be given the option to "add another" or "submit registration". Click on "add another" and repeat the registration process for the new registrant. When you are finished entering registrations, click on "submit registration" to continue to the payment page and complete your session. Please use same company name, address and zip code for each registrant in your group.

Will I receive my badge in the mail if I register for courses?
Badges are not mailed and must be picked up at any of the Express Badge counters at the event. Remember to bring your confirmation with email.
