At AAPEX, International Registration is conveniently located outside the Center for International Commerce in the Lower Lobby of the Sands Expo & Convention Center. Our multi-lingual registration staff and interpreters in our Center for International Commerce are eager to welcome you and answer your questions. The Center for International Commerce offers translation service and private meeting rooms which can be reserved for up to an hour. Complimentary copies of the AAPEX Show Guide are your complete resource for navigating the Show including complete exhibitor listings, product cross references and export interests.
Complimentary WiFi is available in designated hot spots throughout the Exhibit Hall. Interactive YOU ARE HERE boards will also help to get you where you want to go where you can search by company or by product interest and print out a personalized map to help you navigate the show.
WE EXPORT signs and EXPORT EXPERT ribbons let you easily identify those companies with products available for export plus help you easily identify the company's international sales representative.
AAPEX show sponsors, AAIA and MEMA/AASA are eager to welcome international visitors. The SEMA Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center
Start by picking up your badge at the conveniently located International Registration in the South Hall. Nearby is the Center for International Commerce (CIC) in room N255-N257 in the North Hall. These complimentary facilities are designed to make your time in Las Vegas more efficient from private meeting space (which can be reserved in advance), interpreters to help facilitate meetings between international buyers and exhibitors and complimentary WiFi are all available for your use. Don't forget to pick up a complimentary copy of the Show Directory, which includes a year-round guide of hundreds of export-ready companies.
On the Show floor easily identify exhibitors interested in exporting by the prominent WE EXPORT signs in the booth.
SEMA hosts the International Happy Hour networking event on Wednesday, November 5th in the CIC at 1700. Be sure to pre-register by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. Join us at the 10th annual gathering which last year attracted 1000 international buyers, exhibitors and media making this the world's largest international networking gathering of specialty equipment companies.
The OAC International Reception is one of the largest networking events for international visitors attending the show with over 900 guests representing 50 countries. It will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, from 1830 - 2000 at The Mirage. Ticket information will be available at email@example.com.

Reminder: New Requirement for Citizens of Visa Waiver Countries
Beginning in January of 2009, visitors from visa-waiver countries are required to register online via the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA), a free, automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program. Applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel to the U.S. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that travel authorization applications be submitted at least 72 hours prior to travel. Unless revoked, travel authorizations are valid for two years from the date of authorization, or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. If you are a new or pended registrant to AAPEX and the SEMA Show 2014, you may be requested to complete some additional questions to assist in our qualification process. Please have your business license and tax identification number ready.
No refunds will be provided.
Your badge permits you to enter both AAPEX and the SEMA show.
By registering you agree to the following guidelines in order to attend AAPEX and the SEMA Show:
Admission to AAPEX and the SEMA Show are for the automotive trade only. Registrants may be asked to provide proof of their affiliation in the automotive industry.
All registrations are subject to review and approval by Show Management. Principal business category will be determined by Show Management utilizing your company website. Once approved, confirmation will be sent to the registrants via e-mail regarding the status of their registration.
To register on-site, each registrant must present 2 proofs of employment in the automotive industry.
The following forms of business identification will be acceptable. All must indicate current employment at an automotive-related company:
Tax registration certificate or business registration
Two (2) recent paycheck stubs to verify employment
Business card (company name and address must correspond with the information on the registration form). Must include job title.
Business photo ID (must include company name, photo, and full name)
Invoices from automotive companies doing business with your company
The following business representatives are not allowed to attend:
Graphics companies - nonautomotive
Exhibits Installation Dismantling Companies
Independent Insurance agents
Any nonautomotive affiliated company
In order to maintain a business atmosphere at AAPEX and the SEMA show, we ask your cooperation in complying with these policies as a condition of your attendance:
In the interest of maintaining a professional atmosphere, attendees must wear appropriate apparel at all times. Business or semi-business attire is suggested. Logos and sayings on apparel must be in good taste. Show Management reserves the right to make determinations on appropriate apparel.
Badges are the property of AAPEX and the SEMA Show and must be surrendered upon request. Badges must be worn in plain view at all times.
Random distribution of promotional material or business cards or selling of product of any type is not allowed.
NonExhibiting Manufacturers/Service Providers attend for the sole purpose of viewing the AAPEX and the SEMA Show for future exhibiting opportunities. There is a limit of two per company.
NonExhibiting Manufacturers/Service Providers are not permitted to have merchandise, samples or catalogs.
Showrooms, hospitality suites, special presentations or sponsorship of any activity cannot be hosted by NonExhibiting Manufacturers/Service Providers anywhere in Las Vegas during AAPEX and the SEMA Show.
Anyone who is observed approaching buyers in the aisles or in an exhibitor's booth not their own, will be removed.
Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo Center.
No one under the age of 16 years, including infants will be admitted.
Camera and Video Policy - Failure to conform to any of these regulations will result in removal:
AAPEX and the SEMA Show and the Show owners are authorized to make and may use, without limitation, notification or compensations, audio and/or visual recordings of activities at their trade shows, as well as the names of the companies and participants of the Shows.
Professional video crews must carry the official video pass at either Show.
At AAPEX, the use of cameras and video recorders is prohibited in the Exhibit Hall with the exception of authorized members of the working trade press.
At the SEMA Show, photographs and personal videos are permitted with the exhibitor's permission only.
In consideration of being allowed to participate in AAPEX and the SEMA show, the Participant hereby grants AAPEX and the SEMA show and it assigns (1) full and unconditional permission to make still or motion pictures and any other type(s) of audio or visual recordings of Participant's activities and participation in AAPEX and the SEMA Show Event and at the site of the Event before, during and after the Event; and (2) the exclusive, worldwide and perpetual rights to use the same, together with the name, likeness and biography of Participant and its employees and assigns, along with the names, likenesses and data of, or relating to, Participant's products and display, for publicity, other kind or type of exhibition or exploitations, whether or not for profit, in print, audio, video and other communications media by reproduction and sale or other distribution by any and all means now known or hereafter developed.
After identifying that a visa is needed, foreign travelers should contact the U.S.
Embassy Consular Section in their country to determine visa processing timeframes.

The AAPEX and the SEMA Show 2014 recommends following these guidelines for getting
a visa for entry into the United States:
Request a letter of invitation to attend the Expo at least four (4) months prior to the meeting. You must finish the registration process and payment in order to receive the visa invitation letter from the AAPEX and the SEMA Show.
Apply early. The visa application process takes three to four months to complete.
Applicants should present their entire trip itinerary, including travel to any countries other than the United States, at the time of visa application.
If completion of travel plans is contingent upon early approval of the visa application, specify this at the time of the application.
