CompuSystems Completes SAS 70 Type II Certification
CompuSystems (CSI) has completed
a SAS 70 (Statement on Auditing Standards No. 70) Type II audit
of its registration management services. This widely recognized
audit standard can help your company address the requirements of
Sarbanes-Oxley.
Developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
SAS 70 is the standard used to measure the reliability of a service
organization’s internal controls and auditing practices. SAS
70 Type II is the highest level of SAS 70 certification and confirms
that CSI’s internal controls and auditing practices have passed
rigorous, third party testing and are operating effectively. The
examination confirmed that our customers’:
- Registration information and payments are processed accurately
and promptly
- Assets are safeguarded against loss
- Databases are protected from disaster, fraud and tampering
- Clients and staff can effectively monitor the registration process
through accurate and timely information
On an ongoing basis, CSI will undergo the necessary
testing by a third party auditor to maintain the SAS 70 Type II
certification.
