CompuSystems Welcomes Dean Russo as Director of Business Development

Lisle, IL — CompuSystems announces the appointment of Dean Russo to Director of Business Development. With a rich history in the events industry, Russo brings expertise and leadership to CompuSystems, a top provider of registration and lead retrieval services for live events.

Russo, who has been instrumental in the development and success of CompuSystems’ lead retrieval sales division, steps into this new role with a focus on registration sales and service. His career spans 15+ years in the events industry, marked by significant contributions and leadership roles.

Russo served as the Group Show Director at Clarion Events Inc. Here, he was responsible for managing the business strategy of the US Gift event portfolio, demonstrating his adept skills in event management and strategic planning.

Prior to that, as the Director of Business Development at the Security Industry Association, Russo played a pivotal role in developing and implementing event strategies for the leading association in the electronic security sector. 

Russo’s extensive experience also includes a long tenure at Reed Exhibitions, where he held various positions including Portfolio Vice President. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic direction of a $44.5 million event portfolio, overseeing full P&L management, online business development, and international brand expansion.

In his new role at CompuSystems, Russo is set to drive new business and manage key accounts, thereby expanding the company’s reach and impact in the event registration sector.
